Chevy releases Super Bowl spots early

Chevy's trying to build the buzz before the before Super Bowl XLV.

GM's Chevy brand is jumping on the Super Bowl ad frenzy before the big game even starts by releasing their Super Bowl TV commercials early. They've produced spots for a variety of their models such as the Volt (I'm really wanting to see one of those in person), the Silverado pickup and the Cruze.

San Francisco's Goodby, Silverstein and Partners produced the Chevy  tv commercials. Sounds like voice talent/actor Tim Allen providing the voiceover.

Here's Chevy's Super Bowl tv commercials before the pigskin has even been kicked:

"Status"
Chevy "Status"

"Discovery"
Chevy "Discovery"

"Misunderstanding"
Chevy "Misunderstanding"

"Tommy"
Chevy "Tommy"

"Al's Choice"
Chevy "Al's Choice"

So what do you think? Have a favorite? Think they're going to move some metal?

VW Star Wars Lil Darth Vader Super Bowl TV Commercial

Sometimes you see something that not only makes you smile warmly, but also reminds you that the best things are often the simplest.

This TV spot for VW is done so perfectly I've watched it over and over and it continues to satisfy, much like a Snickers. Except this ain't no Snickers. This would be Godiva.

Watch the little touches in here.

The best is watching the kid in the Darth Vader costume react at the end. Perfect!

Here's what's probably going to be the best spot of this year's Super Bowl commercials. Deutsch USA produced the spot for Volkswagen. It's appropriately titled, "The Force". Enjoy!
